YOMASSAGE

Yomassage

Hands-On Therapy

Yomassage™ is a fusion of meditation & breath work, restorative yoga postures and hands on massage therapy. The massage therapist guides you through breath work and mindfulness exercises. The restorative yoga postures are held for approximately 5 - 8 min. while the massage therapist performs manual massage on different parts of the body. Classes can range from 1 -2 people and last 60- 75min. Classes are kept small so each person receives individual attention from the massage therapist
Yomassage not only allows your body & mind to relax into the restorative postures but it also increases circulation, provides a Myofascial release, and trigger point therapy through massage. You will end the class having received a full body massage and feeling a state of ultimate relaxation.

Yomassage is great for those who need more regular massage & relaxation and is an affordable option for body & mind self care.
It is for all body types and is available to everyone and anyone who values massage therapy, yoga, and meditation as a therapeutic and healing practice.

No prior yoga experience needed. Please wear fitted clothing so the massage therapist can give you the best massage. Client can expect a warm, softly lit room and relaxing music. Everything you need will be provided.

At this time in office class space is limited to 2 participants. Sign up early to get a spot!

Mindfulness is the practice of being in the present moment. Yomassage allows a space for this to happen. Being in the present moment while in a restorative yoga posture, fully supported, removes distractions, and gives you permission to focus on the breath, and release muscle and fascia tightness. Stretch activates the same sensory receptors as massage.

Touch is an essential part of the human experience and studies show touch can decrease blood pressure, heart rate and release hormones that uplift and crate positive emotions.
